Meet Mary Beth
I learned to play American Mahjong from a group of friends and was immediately hooked. I began teaching my family and friends so I would have someone to play with. With a background in education, teaching Mahjong came naturally to me. I take something people think is complicated and make it simple. I learned to play, and you can too!
One-on-one instruction at your pace. Everything covered in a single session: tiles, card, and gameplay. I bring everything you need. You leave with your own personal table guide.

The Game
Knowing and understanding the tiles and how they relate to each other is the foundation of the game.
Learn to read the NMJL card. It is a roadmap to the game, and I'll teach you how to navigate it.
